Intensive Outpatient Program

When a client needs more treatment than weekly appointments, but may not be so impaired that they need to be in the hospital, the intensive outpatient program (IOP) is an effective option. Both very effective and less expensive, IOP is available to treat more severe disorders. The Pointe offers more intensive mental health treatment for youth with issues related to depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, PTSD and behavior disorders. The program consists of three hours of treatment five days a week after school. The program includes group, individual and family therapy services in a safe, therapeutic and confidential setting.

  • Focused on adolescents 12-17 years old
  • Treatment for struggles with functioning at home or school, depression, anxiety, substance use, impulsive behaviors, anger, management, self-mutilization, suicidal thoughts
  • Group therapy
  • Multi-family group therapy
  • Psycho-educational groups
  • Continuum of care available that includes outpatient therapy, day treatment, acute treatment, residential treatment
  • 24 hour emergency services access
